How to use baking soda for healing infections and staving off disease
One of the cheapest and easiest ways to oxygenate your body is with baking soda. (I adapted this recipe from the Healthy, Wild, and Free blog and I’ve been using it for awhile.)
- ½ tsp of baking soda (I recommend diminishing to 1/4 tsp. for ongoing use). Make sure your baking soda is aluminum-free and food grade. Here’s one option of Sodium Bicarbonate – Natural Process USP No. 1 Food Grade Aluminum-Free (Baking Soda) ING: Organic Powder, 1 lb
.
- ½ tsp of high quality salt (As above, I recommend diminishing to about 1/4 tsp. for ongoing use). High quality salt is unrefined, full of minerals, and pure such as Himalayan salt, dehydrated sea salt, or I use this Gathering Place sea salt with kelp.
- 1/2 cup to 1 cup warm, filtered water (Please, you always want to drink the highest quality water available. I recommend filtering your tap water. I have used the Berkey in the big Canadian city where I used to live, in Guatemala, and now in the country and it words to filter out chlorine by products, many toxins, and even most parasites.) They have many sizes and options and it is a simple, mechanical system with nothing to hook-up. Here’s a great option for those living in most urban areas where flouride is also an issue: Big Berkey Water Filter System With 2 9″ Ceramic Filters & 2 PF-4 Fluoride Filters
Dissolve the baking soda and salt in the warm water and drink.
It’s not delicious, but it feels great! I take my drink first thing in the morning and again at night. It’s been helping me with energy, gall bladder function, and fight off arthritis. It is also supposed to help fight off colds, protect the body from cancer, and protect the kidneys.
