Rooted Nutrition is a holistic whole foods cooking school in Vancouver’s Kitsalano neighbourhood.
Founded by certified chef and registered holistic nutritionist, Andrea Potter, rooted nutrition seamlessly marries health and taste to create unique and delicious learning opportunity for the at home chef.
I had the pleasure of taking a class entitled Get Nourished: Eating for digestive health on a cozy January morning with my best friend. We had a blast in the test kitchen mucking around, chopping, chatting, and learning with our classmates. Andrea was a warm and knowledgeable teacher who took her time to ensure each student was getting the most out of their time in the space. My favourite part of this down to earth fermentation and bone broth workshop was how Andrea made things feel possible and easy. She really helped bridge the gap between what we were reading on the handout and how it applies intuitively to our bodies and lives. I left empowered, ready to reform my kitchen and gut health.
