I love natural soaps and lotions. The Mindful Soap Company has some of the nicest smelling and feeling soaps and lotions I’ve ever tried. And there is something special behind the all-natural essential oil blends: the passion of a mother trying to help her child. Trish started the company soon after her four-year-old son was diagnosed with autism. Her son was getting therapy from the Brain Balance Center that included using specific essential oils to help stimulate certain parts of the brain. So, she began making natural soaps using some of the same essential oils and the Mindful Soap Co. was born.
What's To Love?:
What’s to love?
- These lotions are free of parabens, phthalates, artificial dyes, sulfate, and artificial fragrance
- The lotion I used smelled great and was creamy, moisturizing, and easy to spread
- And it contained goat milk which hydrated my skin beautifully
What’s not to love?
- Ideally, these lotions would not come in plastic, but besides the plastic the packaging is minimal
- I wish all the ingredients were organic
- The lotion contains phenoxyethanol which gets a 4 on the EWG Cosmetic’s Database. A 4 is considered moderately risky.
