Unlike many thermoses and tumbler’s on the market, Libre has lined its tea glasses with glass. This is a much healthier material than plastic when it comes to food and beverage containers.
Libre is a design dream for all loose leaf tea drinkers on the go ! Gone are the days of waiting for your tea to steep before rushing out the door with a thermos or packing all your tea accessories in your purse. Libre uses Borosilicate glass — think pyrex– so it is totally safe to put piping hot water into the tumbler without fear of it shattering or exploding before your eyes. Their unique design allows you to steep tea 2 ways depending on the type of tea you are using. Check out the instructional video here for an idea of how it works. Libre has chosen to adore their tumblers with flora and fauna motifs that will make you smile between each sip.
Libre Tea is excited and passionate about sustainability and communities who are engaged in making this world we share a better place. They have a section of their website dedicated solely to promoting individuals with this goal in mind. Check out Libre Leading Lights to see a snap shot of some of the inspiring folks that Libre is excited to showcase.
Libre isn’t presently doing anything to offset their carbon impact. Hopefully they are moving towards a carbon neural certification as their young business flourishes.
